Reinsurance disputes continue to increase each year, along with the rising financial implications of these disputes. NLdH has a dedicated team of specialists to handle your reinsurance issues from inception to conclusion. Recent Results:

• Reinsurance arbitration on behalf of reinsurers regarding allocation of loss issues in an environmental case culminated in a panel award on behalf of reinsurers, reducing the billing by 97.5 percent. 
• Arbitration on behalf of cedent involving a boiler and machinery loss resulted in a 100 percent victory for the cedent, plus seven figure interest and partial attorney fees.
• Claim inspection on behalf of the London market resulted in recommended reserve reductions of over $5 million.
• Presentation on behalf of cedent concerning asbestos losses resulted in a 100 percent recovery without the need to arbitrate, where the parties had been deadlocked for a number of years.
• Representation of the London market on a matter where in excess of $17 million claimed and resolved for less than one third that amount prior to arbitration.
