![]() Robert T. Horst Robert T. Horst is the Chair of NLdH's national insurance coverage practice group. Consistent with our firm's unique niche, Mr. Horst represents insurers in coverage disputes, bad faith litigation and class action defense. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, Mr. Horst has tried over forty cases to jury verdict and has litigated matters pro hac vice in numerous jurisdictions including Delaware, Ohio, Florida, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Virginia, and Washington. Mr. Horst acts as an expert in the area of insurance bad faith litigation and also serves as a private arbitrator in insurance coverage matters . A frequent lecturer on topics related to insurance as well as ethics, Mr. Horst has presented to such organizations as the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, Property Loss Research Bureau, Insurance Society of Philadelphia, New Jersey Special Investigators Association, International Association of Special Investigative Units, Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Mr. Horst is also a contributor to various publications and was also recently quoted in the New York Times in an article on the insurability of specialty vehicles. I n 2007 Mr. Horst was re-appointed a member of the Investigative Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention .
