George J. Vogrin represents insurers and reinsurers in litigation and arbitrations across a broad spectrum of legal areas that encompasses all aspects of insurance coverage, including sports disability, commercial general liability, property, accident, and contingency matters as well as reinsurance, products liability, and professional liability matters.

With his expertise in the insurance industry and his extensive knowledge of both the London Market and reinsurance issues, Mr. Vogrin is frequently invited to speak to insurance professionals in the United States and abroad. He has been a speaker on legal issues at the North American Contingency Association Conferences from 2003 through 2005 and has been on its Board of Directors since 2006. In addition, Mr. Vogrin has been an annual speaker on Recent Developments in Claim Administration in London every year since 2003. He has appeared as a panelist at the American Conference Institute's seminar on Reinsurance, for which he authored an article on rescission, at the Practicing Law Institute's 1996 seminar on Lloyd's and the London Market in New York, and at the New York State Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education Department on Insurance Coverage Issues and Applications.

Mr. Vogrin has authored an article on the impact of the Private Shareholder Litigation Reform Act of 1995 on Directors' and Officers' insurers--a subject upon which he presented a seminar in London--as well as an article entitled "The Lloyd's Market: The Value of Tradition," which appeared in Declarations, the Journal of the Express/Surplus Claims Association (Winter, 1997-1998).

Mr. Vogrin was posted to London from 1992 through 1994, where he gained extensive experience in both the London Market, including Lloyd's, and the European Insurance Market.
